A Limerick gone astray

There once was a woman who's daughter
I thought was quite cute so I stalked her
I followed her around
Recorded her sound
And even though she had me arrested, I still stalked her

There once was a woman who's daughter
I thought was quite cute so I stalked her
She loved the attention
And the gifts too numerous to mention
But she gave me to the cops for the gifts I'd stole her

There once was a woman who's daughter
I thought was quite cute so I stalked her
It was a disaster
For her dad was a pastor
And while aiming at me one night he shot her

There once was a woman who's daughter
Thought I was quite cute though I stalked her
With her father in jail
I consoled her mother so frail
And nine months later she had a brother.

  2. i have a mind u never stalked the daughter...well that is to the poem's persona of course...it seems as if the person thought the daughter was cute so he stalked the mother...up on till the last few verses when the dad comes in...untill then it was blissfull astray in my mind....then it went all wrong in my head in the last verse, that is certainly the madness i've been hearing in class for the past few months...
