In the second semester of the academic year 2009/2010, we, students of the University of the Southern Caribbean enrolled in the course "ENGL255: Studies in Literature" at 10:50 A.M. with Mrs. Bengochea-Persad, were charged with the mission to bring Literature into the community. In biological terms, a community is a group of interacting organisms sharing an environment. In sociology, the concept of community has led to significant debate, and sociologists are yet to reach agreement on a definition of the term. Traditionally a "community" has been defined as a group of interacting people living in a common location. We decided to make use of the Internet - the online community.
This Blog was set up to display some of the work that a few students of the class produced as assignments. The students initially involved are:
